low-margin categories (PIEPS, JetForce, bindings), reduced headcount about 38% from the 2023 baseline, and invested in sourcing, ERP and e-commerce to shift sales toward higher-margin apparel, mountain and climb products (now ~86% of Q4 sales, targeting ~93–95%). Q4 performance hit by tariffs, FX and inventory : Consolidated Q4 sales fell to $65.4M from $71.4M and gross margin dropped to 27.7% (from 33.4%) as tariff costs, FX contract losses and inventory reserves (including a $3.4M Adventure write-down) materially pressured profitability; ski sales plunged 30% while apparel rose 10%, and adjusted EBITDA was $1.2M. Balance sheet and 2026 outlook: Clarus ended 2025 debt-free with $36.7M cash, guided 2026 sales of $255–265M and adjusted EBITDA of $9–11M, expects to have offset ~75% of tariff impacts entering 2026 (leaving a ~$2.8M gap), and plans to preserve cash at least through the first half of the year.
