It's something that Bea Kim has been experiencing over the last handful of days at the 2026 Milano Cortina Winter Olympics with Team USA since arriving in Livigno, Italy — the northern Italian town that's hosting snowboarding at the Livigno Snow Park. The 19-year-old snowboarder officially begins her Olympic career on Wednesday, Feb. 11 with the qualifying runs for the women's snowboarding halfpipe, where she will compete alongside her mentor: back-to-back gold medal winner Chloe Kim "I grew up watching them, and now I like to call them my friends," Bea Kim recently said of being on the same team as Chloe Kim and Maddie Mastro.
