The latest keyboard technology shaking up the world of gaming is something called a Hall Effect Magnetic Switches. Instead of using regular mechanical or optical switches, keyboards using magnetic switches can be customized with precise switch travel distance, actuation points and rapid repeat. If you want a keyboard as unique as you are, especially if you're an elite gamer, the new MelGeek Cyber01 could be the one for you. This is the first MelGeek keyboard I've reviewed and it's been designed with keen gamers in mind. As you might expect with a serious gaming keyboard, the MelGeek Cyber01 connects via USB and there is no wireless option on this model. Many gamers prefer wired keyboards because USB can offer a more responsive key action than Bluetooth. Magnetic switch keyboards are gaining in popularity with FPS gaming and that's due to their adaptability. While regular mechanical keyboard switches need full keypresses to trigger, a magnetic switch can have adjustable actuation
