On Monday evening, Facebook announced that it had identified and blocked close to 30 Facebook accounts and 85 Instagram accounts which may be engaged in coordinated inauthentic behavior ahead of the 2018 US midterm elections. I n a blog post , Facebook Head of Cybersecurity Policy Nathaniel Gleicher said that the company is investigating the accounts further, and will update with any new information.
