U.S. benchmark oil futures settled with a gain of nearly 20% on Thursday, marking a second session of gains as front-month prices continued to rebound from Tuesday's 21-year low. A tweet from President Donald Trump Wednesday raised tensions between the U.S. and Iran, which put oil shipping in the Middle East at risk. June West Texas Intermediate oil rose $2.72, or 19.7%, to settle at $16.50 a barrel on the New York Mercantile Exchange.
