LOUIS, April 28, 2020 /PRNewswire/ -- Centene Corporation (NYSE: CNC) announced today its financial results for the first quarter ended March 31, 2020, reporting diluted earnings per share (EPS) of $0.08 and Adjusted Diluted EPS of $0.86.In summary, the 2020 first quarter and results were as follows:Total revenues (in millions)$26,025Health benefits ratio88.0%SG&A expense ratio9.9%Adjusted SG&A expense ratio (1)8.6%GAAP diluted EPS$0.08Adjusted Diluted EPS (1)$0.86Total cash flow used in operations (in millions)$(240)(1) A full reconciliation of Adjusted SG&A expense ratio and Adjusted Diluted EPS are shown on page seven of this release.Both diluted EPS and Adjusted Diluted EPS have been negatively impacted by $0.05 due to lower investment income and incremental senior note interest expense.
