ST. LOUIS, April 20, 2020 /PRNewswire/ -- Centene Corporation (NYSE: CNC) announced today that its subsidiary Centurion has been awarded a contract by the Kansas Department of Administration to provide healthcare services in the Department of Corrections' (DOC) facilities. The two-year contract is expected to commence on July 1, 2020 and include two, two-year renewal options.Under the agreement, Centurion will provide medical, dental, behavioral health, and related support services for offenders in nine facilities across the state."This award gives us another opportunity to provide our innovative staffing and integrated, managed care solutions to a large, complex state correctional agency," said Centurion CEO Steven H. Wheeler.
