HOUSTON--(BUSINESS WIRE)--CenterPoint Energy, Inc. (NYSE: CNP) or “CenterPoint” today announced the pricing of its offering of $600 million aggregate principal amount of its 2.875% Convertible Senior Notes due 2029 (the “convertible notes”) in a private placement to persons reasonably believed to be qualified institutional buyers pursuant to Rule 144A under the Securities Act of 1933, as amended (the “Securities Act”). The size of the offering was increased from the previously announced $550 million aggregate principal amount of convertible notes. CenterPoint also granted the initial purchasers of the convertible notes the option to purchase up to an additional $50 million aggregate principal amount of convertible notes for settlement within a 13-day period beginning on, and including, the date on which the convertible notes are first issued.
