lower, perhaps it makes sense to view some of the commodity plays (think the energy producers) as more of a worthy hedge against such future shocks and less of a way to “play” the price of the underlying commodity. After all, nobody knows where oil or any other commodity is going next, at least over the short- to medium-term. There are just too many variables.
