Vaccine, diagnostics stocks rise again on spreading coronavirus Shares of a handful of vaccine makers, diagnostics companies and manufacturers of medical supplies, like masks, rallied again in premarket trading on Monday over growing public concern about the new coronavirus. This includes Co-Diagnostics Inc. CODX, +34.57% , up 42%; NanoViricides Inc. NNVC, +78.78% , up 29%; Allied Healthcare Products Inc. AHPI, +31.03% , up 22%; Inovio Pharmaceuticals Inc. INO, +28.77% , up 24%; and Novavax Inc. NVAX, +14.10% , up 13%. The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention said Sunday that there are now five confirmed cases in the U.S., all of whom had traveled to Wuhan, the city in China where the virus was first identified. Chinese health officials have said that more than 2,700 people have been sickened and at least 80 people died, according to The Wall Street Journal .
