Net of adjusting items, First Quarter 2026 Net Income of $4.42 per share(1) MCLEAN, Va.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Capital One Financial Corporation (NYSE: COF) today announced net income for the first quarter of 2026 of $2.2 billion, or $3.34 per diluted common share, compared with net income of $2.1 billion, or $3.26 per diluted common share in the fourth quarter of 2025, and with net income of $1.4 billion, or $3.45 per diluted common share in the first quarter of 2025. Adjusted net income(1) for the first quarter of 2026 was $4.42 per diluted common share."Our results in the first quarter reflect solid top line growth and strong credit performance," said Richard D.
