Everyone thought the crypto market would soon recover and things will get back to normal. Related: XRP losses hit corporate crypto treasury firm On Oct. 20, Evernorth Holdings, backed by Ripple and other companies, launched as a digital asset treasury (DAT) focused on XRP DATs are companies that hold crypto assets like Bitcoin (BTC), Ether (ETH), XRP, etc., on their corporate balance sheets, similar to how most companies hold cash. Led by former Ripple executive Asheesh Birla, Evernorth offers investors liquid, transparent exposure to XRP through a publicly listed vehicle and claims to be the largest public XRP treasury company. The goal of the company was to accumulate XRP and capitalize on the potential uptick. But since Oct. 10, the crypto market has failed to recover despite multiple revival attempts.
