Governors of Georgia, South Carolina and Tennessee believe that the coronavirus pandemic in their state is under control and are hoping for economic improvement with phased reopening of non-essential businesses. In the reopened states beauty and barber shops were seen to open first, and this could be a blueprint for other states. There is a need for a sound strategy for stores to reopen – in order to protect both the salespeople in the stores and the customers who might come to shop.
