Thrive Market launches a new lineup of clean wines. Thrive Market The LA-based online marketplace for health foods, Thrive Market announced a new addition to their offering last week: clean wines. Price at under $20 a bottle and promised to be sulfate-free, Thrive Market co-founder Nick Green wants consumers to think about what goes into their wine as much as their meals. Packaged in recycled material molds that eliminate the need for bubble wrap, plastic fillers, and styrofoam, the startup wants to take on the massive wine market with their eco-friendly, healthy proposition. Since Thrive Market has a Costco-style membership model, it's worth noting that Costco sells almost $2 billion in wines annually. Direct sales of wine exceed that at $3 billion .
