Yet Record Numbers Of Us Did It This Summer And That Trend Isn’t Seriously Threatened To hear some travel industry experts tell it you’d think that Summer 2019 was a long string of terrible, horrible, no good, very bad days,punctuated by massive airplane groundings, unprecedented labor disruptions, frightening engine blowouts, painfully cramped seats, growing trade wars and fears of actual war, lousy service, fast-rising prices, lost bags, developing worries about a slowing economy or even a potential recession, and horrific weather. And it was all punctuated by the fast-spreading disease of insufferably bad behavior by some travelers themselves.
