The Campbell's Co. has named an outsider to run its struggling snacks division. Mohit Anand, who has experience at snack firms around the world, succeeds Elizabeth Duggan, who was named the division's president less than a year ago. Anand arrives after the snacks unit reported a 4% decline in net sales of $4.2 billion for its last fiscal year. Its operating earnings fell by 10% from a year earlier. Factory closing: Campbell's plans to exit Cape Cod potato chip facility Mick Beekhuizen, Campbell's president and CEO, has acknowledged "category softness" for the snacks division. He said the firm wants better performance from the unit. The snacks division's brands include Goldfish, Pepperidge Farm, Snyder's of Hanover, Lance, Kettle Brand, Cape Cod, Snack Factory and Late July.
