PITTSBURGH, April 11, 2024 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Carmell Corporation (Nasdaq: CTCX), a bio-aesthetics company focused on skin and hair health (“Carmell”, the “Company”, “we”, “our”, or “us”), today announced the closing of its previously announced private placement with new and existing investors (the “Private Placement”). The Company received gross proceeds from the Private Placement of $3 million, excluding offering expenses. The Company issued and sold an aggregate amount of 1,331,452 shares of its common stock upon the closing of the Private Placement at a price of $2.88 per share for the Company’s Chief Executive Officer (which was the closing sale price of the Company’s common stock on the Nasdaq Capital Market on April 3, 2024) and at a price of $2.25 per share for all other investors in the Private Placement.
