of the Western Caribbean, including Cozumel, Mexico, and Belize, a floral version of the Star Princess will cruise down Colorado Boulevard in Pasadena at the Rose Parade on January 1, 2026. Princess Cruise Lines launched Star Princess on its inaugural voyage in October. The 17 ship operated by the cruise line, the first voyage of the newest Princess was an 11-day Western Mediterranean roundtrip from Barcelona. It has since sailed to Fort Lauderdale for the holiday season. The specifications of the new Star Princess are quite impressive. The newest Princess is 1,133 feet long, with a breadth of 139 feet and height of 200 feet. The 177,800 ton ship is comparable in size to the U.S. Navy's largest aircraft carrier, the USS Gerald R. Ford, at 1,106 feet long and approximately 181,000 metric tons. The Star Princess has a capacity of 4,300 passengers, with a crew of 1600.
