CEL-SCI slid 23% to $2.20 in premarket trading. Advertisement The Vienna, Va., biotech company sold 3,875,000 shares of its common stock for $2 per share, for gross proceeds of roughly $7.75 million, before underwriting discounts and expenses, in a transaction due to close Feb. 13. Shares closed Thursday at $2.85. The company intends to use proceeds to fund the continued development of its Multikine injection, an immunotherapy recently selected by the United Kingdom's medical agency as a potential immunotherapy treatment for head-and-neck cancer, for general corporate purposes, and working capital.
