fourth-quarter profit in a sign of growing pains as the company pursues rapid growth. The online used-car retailer said its adjusted earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortization were $511 million, lower than the average analyst estimate of $536 million. Higher non-vehicle costs and depreciation were contributors, the company said in a statement Wednesday. Those moves helped the company maintain its rapid pace of used-car sales growth, but its margin fell a percentage point from a year ago.
