The Pennington, a 147-unit multifamily community located at 211 Pennington Avenue in Passaic was recently sold for $49 million P3 Properties purchased the property from the Birch Group. Spanning approximately 3.6 acres, The Pennington offers untapped real estate potential, The 3.6-acre property, which is located in the Passaic Park neighborhood, includes a vacant 60,000-square-foot South Tower, according to a statement from Cushman & Wakefield, which announced the sale on Monday. It also has two significant commercial spaces currently in the planning and activation pipeline. Completed in 2024, the complex is a multifamily community with an average unit size of approximately 968 square feet. The community also benefits from a long-term payment in lieu of taxes agreement.
