FRANKLIN, Tenn.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Community Health Systems, Inc. (the “Company”) (NYSE: CYH) today announced that its wholly-owned subsidiary, CHS/Community Health Systems, Inc. (the “Issuer”) has commenced a tender offer (the “Tender Offer”) to purchase for cash up to $600,000,000 aggregate purchase price (exclusive of accrued and unpaid interest) (as such aggregate purchase price may be increased or decreased by the Issuer, the “Aggregate Maximum Purchase Amount”) of its outstanding Notes of the two series listed in the table below (collectively, the “Notes”); provided that the Issuer will only accept for purchase (i) its 4.750% Senior Secured Notes due 2031 having an aggregate purchase price of up to $350,000,000 (exclusive of accrued and unpaid interest) (as such aggregate purchase price for such 2031 Notes may be increased or decreased by the Issuer, the “2031 Tender Cap”) and (ii) its 10.875% Senior Secured Notes due 2032 having an aggregate purchase price of up to $250,000,
