remained above $200 million for the quarter, and backlog climbed to $342 million (up ~25% YoY) with particularly strong wins in Live Events and a record quarter for Transportation bookings. Margins and profitability: Gross margin was essentially flat year-over-year at 24% but fell sequentially from 27% due to fixed-cost absorption and about $6 million of tariff expense; net income was $3 million ($0.06/share) and adjusted net income was $4.6 million after one-time transition and acquisition costs. Strategic investments and balance sheet actions: Daktronics acquired IP and engineering talent from X Display Company to boost micro-LED capabilities, repurchased ~1.3 million shares (WAP $17.60) with ~$17 million remaining authorization, finished the quarter with $144 million cash and no borrowings, and is progressing a Mexico facility expected to be operational in FY2027.
