Current CFO Dan Janki has been named Chief Operating Officer, where he will oversee customer care, airport customer service and in-flight service, among other duties. "These changes demonstrate Delta's deep bench of talent and commitment to developing and uplifting the leaders who will shape Delta's journey for years to come,” CEO Ed Bastian said in a memo The leadership changes will happen on April 1, according to Bastian. John Laughter, the current EVP, chief of operations and president of Delta TechOps, will retire on April 30.
