Industry veteran Kelli Valade has been named chief executive officer and president of the Women's Foodservice Forum. She will assume her role in early February, succeeding Therese Gearhart, who has served in the role since 2019 and announced her intention to retire in June 2025 In leading the nonprofit organization, Valade is charged with developing and advancing leaders and next-generation leaders in the foodservice industry, as well as the companies they serve. “Kelli is uniquely qualified to lead WFF at this pivotal time,” WFF board chair and chief revenue officer of Woodland Gourmet Dawn Rasmussen said in a statement. “She brings a proven record of leadership, a deep understanding of our industry, and a long-standing commitment to WFF's mission of helping members connect, grow and be inspired to reach their potential throughout their careers.” Valade most recently served as CEO of Denny's Corp., joining the company in 2022 .
