sales +5.9% to $10.9B, same-store sales +4.3%, operating profit +106% to $606M and diluted EPS +122% to $0.93 — with a 105 bps gross-margin expansion driven largely by shrink reduction and inventory improvements. For fiscal 2026 management guided net sales growth of 3.7–4.2% , same-store sales of 2.2–2.7% and EPS of $7.10–$7.35, but warned of an approximate $0.13 EPS headwind from the expiration of the Work Opportunity Tax Credit and expects only modest margin gains and slight SG&A deleverage. Growth and efficiency initiatives include a new store format, thousands of remodels, expanded non-consumables and delivery, and a growing DG Media Network (~$170M in 2025); meanwhile inventories fell ~5.7%, operating cash flow rose to $3.6B, and the company redeemed $1.7B of senior notes in 2025.
