Digital Ally's stock rockets on heavy volume after withdrawing stock offering Shares of Digital Ally Inc. ALLY, -0.18% vaulted 54% higher on premarket-leading volume of over 1.9 million shares, after the video recording and analytic software company filed to withdraw a common stock offering. The company had initially filed for the offering on Jan. 21, and said on Feb. 7 that it was offering up to 7.7 million Class A units, consisting of one share of common stock and on warrant to buy 0.75 common shares. The stock had soared 28% on Feb. 4 after the company announced its largest-ever contract in its history that included 5,000 body cameras with the company's software infrastructure service to a "national police force," but pulled back since then to close Thursday at a 6-month low of 89 cents. The stock has tumbled 75% over the past 12 months through Thursday, while the S&P 500 SPX, +0.07% has run up 23%.
