Dozens of Disneyland guests had to be evacuated from the resort's iconic Monorail after its beam lost power on Jan. 8, bringing trains to a stop. Initial reports indicated there were approximately 60 people on board, according to Sgt. Matt Sutter, public information officer for Anaheim Police. Two trains were affected, and no injuries were reported. Anaheim Fire & Rescue got everyone down safely with help from the Southern California resort. Disneyland Monorail transports guests between Downtown Disney District and Tomorrowland in Disneyland Park, and valid a park ticket is required to ride it.
