When Shantell Bankasingh reached her tenth anniversary working for Hazelview Investments Inc. in 2021, she received an impressive award in recognition — $5,000. She used it to travel with a girlfriend to Southeast Asia, staying in the best hotels. “I don't think I would have been able to go on any trip like that if this opportunity wasn't there,” says Bankasingh, associate, social impact. Bankasingh's milestone is one of many celebrated across Hazelview. Two years later, senior leader Alicia Ross, partner, people operations and talent, received the same award on her 10th anniversary. “It allowed me to take my family of five on their dream vacation to Disney World, and just the memories we created far exceeded any kind of monetary award or gift,” she says.
