The popularity of thrifting and secondhand shopping has come to the holidays via Thriftmas. Shoppers are buying new and gently used gifts at thrift stores, saying they are leaning into the growing trend as both a way to save money and be environmentally conscious. I spoke with two shoppers who are thrifting their Christmas gifts this year for some tips. New interactive tool helps track grocery prices USA TODAY has launched a new tool to help shoppers gauge rising grocery prices. The grocery tracker will be updated weekly with prices of common items at stores across the country. Users can also use an interactive grocery basket tool and choose specific food staples for a weekly grocery bill estimate, which is localized with data for each state.
