Lower freight costs and the closure of unprofitable Family Dollar stores will improve margins in FY24. Management has a good track record of meeting EPS guidance, giving me confidence in their ability to achieve the FY26 target of $10 EPS. Investment summary My recommendation for Dollar Tree Stores ( NASDAQ: DLTR ) is a buy rating. I believe the FY26 target of $10 EPS is achievable, as DLTR should be able to hold on to the share gained during this trade-down environment and expand margins due to lower freight rates and the closure of unprofitable stores. Management also has a good track record of meeting guidance, which gives me more confidence in this FY26 target. Business Overview DLTR operates a chain of discount stores selling a wide variety of products under two key brands: Dollar Tree and Family Dollar, primarily in the United States. Of the 2 brands, the Dollar Tree brand is the bigger brand, having generated $16.7 billion in sales and $2.28 billion in EBIT in FY23.
