PLEASANTON, Calif. Oct. 1, 2025 /PRNewswire/ -- SafeTraces, the market leader in pathogen-proofing indoor environments, was announced by ARPA-H as a Prime Performer for its Building Resilient Environments for Air and Total Health (BREATHE) program on a multi-year other transaction agreement (OTA) for up to $39 million. SafeTraces SafeTraces will lead a world-class team including Siemens, Ginkgo Bioworks, Gate Scientific, Stanford University School of Medicine, Penn State University, Uniformed Services University, Metis Foundation, and Linda Lee Consulting to develop and deploy real-time biosensors, respiratory risk assessment software, and automated building controls in support of the Defense Health Agency (DHA) within the U.S. Department of War. DHA is one of the largest U.S. integrated health systems with over 700 military hospitals and clinics serving over 9.5 million active-duty service members, veterans, and family members.
