"We believe the sustained top-line deceleration has called into question Dynatrace's durable growth; while go-to-market and product initiatives appear to be slipping to the right and are not expected to become meaningful contributors to the financial model until FY26," analyst Mike Cikos wrote in an investor note. Cikos lowered his rating on Dynatrace to Hold from Buy and the $70 price target was removed. Growth in annual recurring revenue for fiscal 2024 is expected to be between 18% and 19%, down from 28% in fiscal 2023. Fiscal 2025 is expected to see another step down, to roughly 16% to 17%, though there is not likely to be any chance in net retention, as go-to-market chances and new products take time to ramp, Cikos explained. Starting April 1, Dynatrace boosted the number of sales reps geared towards the Top 3,000 Enterprises and cut the number of accounts per rep, which the company believes will drive greater focus.
