The most leased assets were in the IT equipment category, which includes items such as laptops and software, making up 26.5% of the total contracts signed. grenke CFO Martin Paal has set a target of €2.4bn of new business for the full year. The proportion of direct business with customers remained relatively unchanged at 17.9%. The period also saw a rise in lease applications to about 159,000, which led to the formation of roughly 77,000 new leasing agreements. grenke noted that the Austria, Switzerland, and Germany (DACH) region was the top performer with new business, amounting to €207.2m, marking a 9.4% increase, with Germany contributing to over 21.7%. This growth was partly due to a new partnership with Deutsche Telekom, expected to enhance grenke's presence in the German market.
