Offering Size Increased Through Partial Exercise of Over-Allotment Option OLD GREENWICH, Conn.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Ellington Credit Company (NYSE: EARN) (the “Fund”) today announced the closing of its previously announced underwritten public offering of $50.0 million aggregate principal amount of 8.50% notes due 2031 (the "2031 Notes"). The Fund further announced that the underwriters partially exercised their over-allotment option and purchased an additional $4.0 million aggregate principal amount of 2031 Notes, bringing the total offering size to $54.0 million to date.The 2031 Notes have been rated ‘BBB’ by Egan-Jones Ratings Company, an independent rating agency unaffiliated with the Fund. The Fund granted the underwriters a 30-day option to purchase up to an additional $7.5 million aggregate principal amount of 2031 Notes, inclusive of the partial exercise of $4.0 million, at the same price and on the same terms and conditions, to cover over-allotments.
