The e-commerce company reported adjusted earnings of 77 cents per share on revenue of $2.4 billion. Wall Street expected earnings of 73 cents on revenue of $2.3 billion. In February, eBay completed the sale of its sports and entertainment ticket marketplace StubHub to U.K.-based ticket marketplace Viagogo for $4.05 billion. Looking ahead, eBay expects second-quarter revenue in the range of $2.38 billion and $2.48 billion, vs. analyst estimates of $2.33 billion. The company reported gross merchandise volume on its e-commerce platform of $21.3 billion, above views of about $20 billion. In addition, it reported active buyers of 174 million.
