OLD GREENWICH, Conn.--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- Ellington Financial Inc. (NYSE:EFC) (“Ellington Financial” or the “Company”) announced today that it has completed its conversion to a corporation under Delaware law and changed its name to Ellington Financial Inc. from Ellington Financial LLC. Since the Company had already elected to be taxed as a corporation for U.S. federal and state income tax purposes effective January 1, 2019, no material tax or financial changes are expected from the state law conversion.
