End of an era. The Bumble and bumble Midtown East salon will officially close its doors on June 27. That was followed by a space on 56th Street that has long been considered the Estée Lauder Cos.-owned brand's heritage salon. Gordon, who became a highly sought-after stylist, launched a product line in the '90s, which caught the attention of the Estée Lauder Cos. The beauty company took a majority stake in the hair brand in 2000. The Bumble and bumble Meatpacking salon will remain open. It has been in the neighborhood since 2002. In the second quarter of the year, the Estée Lauder Cos. said hair care net sales returned to growth, increasing 5 percent, in part helped by the initial shipments for Bumble
