Why High-Yielding Oil Stocks Are Skyrocketing Today Crude oil prices are rebounding from yesterday's sell-off, fueling stunning rallies among high-yielding energy midstream companies. Oil prices are snapping back today following yesterday's historic sell-off . Crude closed more than 10% higher on the day, fueled in part by a rash of spending cuts across the oil sector . That powered a ferocious rally in the midstream sector .
