EOS: A Covered Call CEF Focused Around Growth Summary EOS is a rather unique equity income fund that invests in high growth companies and writes options against its positions. This strategy delivers returns that are somewhat better than what the S&P 500 does. The fund does have a respectable yield, although there are CEFs out there with higher ones. The fund is reasonably well diversified, but it does look pretty heavily exposed to a couple tech firms. The fund currently trades at a premium so investors would be wise to wait until it swings to a discount before buying in.
