Organon soared to a new 52-week high on Monday, as investors gobbled up shares after the company officially confirmed its planned $11.75-billion merger with Sun Pharmaceuticals. (NYSE:OGN) said that Sun Pharma is set to acquire all its outstanding shares at $14 apiece, in an all-cash transaction, in line with the latter's strategy of growing its innovative medicines business.
