Enterprise Products Partners (NYSE: EPD ) says it is delaying a planned capacity increase on the Seaway crude pipeline from Cushing, Okla., to the Gulf Coast because of unspecified upstream issues. EPD is seeking to boost Seaway capacity by 100K bbl/day through the addition of drag reducing agents, raising capacity on the twin-line system to 950K bbl/day. The Seaway system, operated by EPD and co-owned with Enbridge (NYSE: ENB ), includes a 400K bbl/day Seaway legacy line and a 450K bbl/day twin.
