Six Flags New England in Agawam, Mass., just over the Connecticut border. The company announced the planned sale of seven of its parks. (Jae C. Hong/AP) Six Flags announced the plan to sell seven of its parks to EPR Properties, in order to focus on the reinvestment in the company's other parks, which includes Six Flags New England. The amusement park company said this weekend, six of the parks planned to be sold are in the United States and one is in Canada. Those include Michigan's Adventure, Schlitterbahn Waterpark Galveston, Six Flags Great Escape in Queensbury, N.Y., Six Flags La Ronde in Montreal, Six Flags St. Louis, Valleyfair in Minneapolis and Worlds of Fun in Kansas City, Mo. "This step allows us to concentrate on the Six Flags parks with the greatest potential for innovation, expansion, and elevated guest experiences," the company said.
