Recent gains stem from both geopolitical tensions and the Omega South discovery, but Equinor remains highly sensitive to volatile oil prices and Norwegian tax rates. Despite strong fundamentals, a well-covered dividend, and an AA rating, EQNR's valuation now implies $80/bbl oil, exceeding my base-case expectations for 2026. I see more risk than reward at current levels; my fair value is 320 NOK, and I plan to monitor for a rotation opportunity.
