of UK North Sea natural gas assets to Viaro Energy after months of engagement failed to clear regulatory and commercial hurdles. The companies said they were unable to complete the proposed sale of the Bacton onshore gas terminal and 11 offshore facilities following a prolonged review by the North Sea Transition Authority, which requested additional information from Viaro before reaching a decision. Francesco Mazzagatti, Viaro's founder, said the parties worked closely over an extended period, but completion conditions were ultimately not met as market and commercial dynamics evolved, leading to a mutual decision to abandon the transaction.
