Summary Energy Recovery Inc. recently announced $16.6 million in new contract wins - including its first contract to support conversion of a large-scale thermal desalination facility to SWRO. The company's water segment business continues to perform very well with strong gross margins. However, significant investment in the Vor-Teq commercialization for the oil and gas market has yet to translate into corresponding revenue growth. Perhaps yet another change at the top will turn the long-standing Vor-Teq pipe-dream into reality. If so, I will regret selling my shares. Meantime, the proceeds from my sale have yielded much higher returns in a plain vanilla S&P 500 index fund.
