Espey reported first-quarter fiscal 2026 net income of 76 cents per share, up from 61 cents per share in the prior-year period. Net sales of $9.1 million for the quarter reflected a 12.9% decline from the $10.4 million posted in the same quarter a year earlier. Despite the revenue contraction, net income rose to $2.2 million compared to $1.6 million in the prior-year period. Gross profit rose 14.9% to $3.2 million, pushing gross margin up to 35.4% from 26.8% in the year-ago quarter.
