JERICHO, N.Y. April 24, 2025 /PRNewswire/ -- Esquire Financial Holdings, Inc. (NASDAQ: ESQ) (the "Company"), the financial holding company for Esquire Bank, National Association ("Esquire Bank" or the "Bank"), (collectively "Esquire") today announced its operating results for the first quarter of 2025. Significant achievements and key performance metrics during the current quarter include: Net income increased 13% to $11.4 million , or per diluted share, as compared to $10.1 million , or per diluted share, for the comparable quarter in 2024 despite a $500 thousand increase in the provision for credit losses and a $2.2 million increase in total noninterest expense. On a linked quarter basis, net income was relatively flat at $11.4 million despite a $1.1 million increase in noninterest expense driven by increases in compensation and benefits and our continued investment in future growth.
