April 23, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- Esquire Financial Holdings, Inc. (NASDAQ: ESQ) (the "Company"), the financial holding company for Esquire Bank, National Association ("Esquire Bank" or the "Bank"), (collectively "Esquire") today announced its operating results for the first quarter of 2026. Significant achievements and key performance metrics during the current quarter include: Net income increased 7.0% to $12.2 million, or $1.40 per diluted share, as compared to $11.4 million, or $1.33 per diluted share, for the comparable quarter in 2025 despite $1.7 million in elevated pretax noninterest expense related to: (1) merger expenses totaling $1.3 million related to our recently announced acquisition of Signature Bancorporation, Inc. (the parent company of Signature Bank in Chicago, collectively "Signature");
