RICHMOND, Va., June 26, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- Community Bankers Trust Corporation (NASDAQ: ESXB), the holding company for Essex Bank, announced today that it has been added to the Russell 2000® Index. The addition of the Company to the index was part of the annual reconstitution of the Russell US Indexes that occurred after the market close on June 23, 2017. Rex L. Smith, III, the Company's President and Chief Executive Officer, stated, "We are very pleased to join the Russell 2000®.
